WILD experience

WILD English School is built in Limerick and Galway, at the gateway of the Wild Atlantic Way. Mornings are spent in real, communicative English classes. Afternoons are spent in the sea, on the limestone, and in the company of Irish families who actually feed you, drive you and argue with you about hurling. We run one and two-week immersion courses during summer and on selected dates only.

Dual-city immersion

Explore two cities. Experience one week in both cities. No other school is offering this for you.

WILD English School is the only junior English immersion in Ireland built around a genuine two-base experience. Week 1 is Limerick — the Treaty City on the Shannon — where students decode urban architecture, map the quays and audit local businesses. Week 2 is Galway, the Atlantic's cultural capital, where the focus shifts to marine geography, intertidal surveys and live environmental reporting. The transfer west is not a coach trip between classes: it is part of the syllabus. Students document the changing landscape, produce location-based media and arrive in Galway already thinking like field researchers.

The City and Sea Curriculum

Learning by immersion, not memorization.

We ditched standard Dublin classrooms and recycled coursebooks. WILD English School is built on Place-Based Education — using the West of Ireland as the literal textbook. Week 1 decodes urban systems in Limerick; Week 2 investigates marine geography in Galway.

Instead of traditional written tests, learning is proven through creation. Students produce high-impact digital content — reels, mini-documentaries and field dispatches — leveraging their natural fluency in modern media. Every project functions as an authentic task-based assessment, published live on the school's social channels and streamed directly to our dedicated school app, where parents, agents and teachers can track real-time progress and creative output.

The city as a living organism: architectural mapping along the quays, business audits and documentary projects along the River Shannon.
