Question 1

What ages do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Our junior programmes are designed for students aged 11–18.

Question 2

What is included in the programme?

Accepted Answer

Fifteen hours of tuition, full-board host family accommodation, the full afternoon and evening activity programme, weekend excursions, materials, the return airport transfer and a certificate. Flights, insurance and any clearly stated conditional charge are not included.

Question 3

Where can I find programme prices?

Accepted Answer

Current programme prices are available in our brochures and partner booklet. Contact us if you would like a tailored quotation for your dates and group.

Question 4

How do you vet host families?

Accepted Answer

Every adult in the household is Garda-vetted, each home is visited in person before the season and re-inspected annually, and students complete a mid-stay welfare check.

Question 5

How are students supervised?

Accepted Answer

Students are supervised by our own staff from morning class through the end of the evening programme, with a 1:8 staff ratio on activities and a 24/7 emergency welfare line for parents and group leaders.

Question 6

What English levels do you teach?

Accepted Answer

From A1 to C1. Every student takes a placement test before arrival and is grouped by level, and classes are project-based rather than textbook-driven.

Question 7

Which airport should we fly into?

Accepted Answer

Shannon Airport is 25 minutes from Limerick and is the easiest arrival point. Dublin and Cork also work well; we arrange transfers from any of the three and quote them with your booking.

Question 8

Do students need to be able to swim or surf?

Accepted Answer

No surfing experience is needed — sessions are run by qualified surf schools with wetsuits and boards provided. Students should be water-confident, and we ask parents to declare swimming ability on the medical form.

Question 9

What are your agency terms?

Accepted Answer

Allocations are confirmed with a 20% deposit, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. One free group leader place is offered per 15 paying students. Full terms come with the partner pack.

Question 10

Can a programme include both Limerick and Galway?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our two-week Dual City Journey does exactly that: one week in Limerick and one week in Galway, with a supervised transfer between the two. All other programmes run in one location only, and a one-week stay cannot be split across the two cities.
